What's the best printing method for tennis/golf shirts? Something that doesn't add weight and doesn't effect the integrity of the shirt material (wicking capabilities). Similar to what Nike/Dri-fit, Adidas/Climacool, etc does for their shirts. As if you feel the material, you can't tell there's any differences. A basic design that covers the entire shirt and not just a small patch in front. I'm a newbe so not sure if I made myself understandable.

screen printing usually does have a feel to it. but it is far better quality than many other ways of making to shirts. and also are you going to be selling shirts with the exact same design? if u are only sellnig 1 design, and dont mind the feel screen printing would be best.

most sports garmets (including tennis and golf shirts) are very common for dye sub. dye sub has no feel to it and cant crack either. it is VERY good quality. and is also good for multi-color prints if you need to do those as well.

thanks nicnacs1. I'm curious to know whether big manufacturers have an automated process for dye sublimation. I can't imagine Nike doing tens of thousands of shirts dye subbing by hand like I've seen on youtube. That would take forever! I'm currently living in Vietnam so I'll see if they'll let me in one of the factories to see the whole process.
