Hi,

I've read through a few posts on here regarding this printer, and tried out several of the methods discussed, but with no success.

Printer: Epson WF-7015
Ink: Standard ink that came with the printer
Film: Clear Transparency Film For A3 Inkjet Printers from Wicked Printing Stuff.
Software: Illustrator CC & Photoshop CC

I'm having trouble achieving a pure black print, therefore I'm having issues exposing my screens correctly. I can get them to expose and wash out, but it is taking me longer, and with much more effort than required.

One method I've tried is putting the film positive back into the printer and building up the layer of ink. This is working quite effectively, but if I hold the print up to the light, I can still see through it very slightly.

Basically, what I need is for someone who uses the same printer as me to supply me with your print settings. I'm using Illustrator & Photoshop CC.

Any help would be great appreciated.

Many thanks,

Ash.

When I print from Illustrator or PS, I don't choose pure black. With the image selected and the color selection box open, I drag the color selector circle to the far bottom right. This gives me the darkest color.

I don't know how to better explain it, and I just got out of bed so I'm not fully awake yet. Sorry.

My first suggestion would be to check the kind of ink your printer uses. Some inks are thinner than others and won't lay down a heavy enough coat to block out light like we need them to. On my 1430, I have the all black configuration with only third party "screen printer" inks installed because OEM inks were just not cutting it.

A copy of AccuRIP may help you out as well, but I'm not sure if your model is supported or not.
