Is it possible to print foil on nylon flags?

I'm doing a foil print for the local high school marching band and they wanted to know if I could put the graphic on their color guard flags. Is this possible at all?

I know there is a special ink for nylon when using plastisol,etc. but I've never tried foil on nylon. They have some black flags from a previous year and are not looking to purchase poly or cotton flags.

Yes, make sure that your foil is compatible with nylon, your foil supplier will tell you, but most are.
Also ask the team if they have a ruined flag, old flag or something you could test on first. The reason I write this is that I have found some textiles to be unpredictable in the heat press. Or test press a corner of the flag without foil. I also recommend using parchment paper, just in case.

Thanks for the information!

They did provide me with an old flag of the same material to test print on, but I wasn't sure if it was doable or what I should try it with. I know nylon is different, so wanted to ask the experts!
