If you were printing a black logo on a cactus green or a clover green shirt, would you use Dark or light pretreat and would you print an underbase?

No pretreatment and no underbase. If it's a thicker shirt do 2 passes. Should be a quick order.

I am presuming that is because it's black ink being printed and black pretty much overrides all other colors

If it's all black print then there is no need for an underbase.
I do use a light poly pretreat on a lot of my prints so they have a better washability and might make the black pop a little more. But if it's just black. Usually not

Yes sir. Black over powers any color.
