Hi all-
I want to screen print an image onto a shirt, original, I know.
The image is black and white, and following the instructions of a shirt vendor on the street, I've converted it to a bitmap image and printed it onto a transparency.
The image is a bitmap at 400dpi and 60 lines per inch...
That's all I know...
From here:

What kind of screen should I print on. I will be doing this by hand, so, what mesh is best?

What ink should I be using?

I have an emulsion and an activator (they came together), does one coat the screen in emulsion (in a not light proof space) then coat it with activator in a light proof space?

The emulsion should have instructions, but usually you mix the activator with distilled water, than mix that into the emulsion, stir thoroughly, and then let it sit for a half hour for the air bubbles to escape.

As far as mesh and ink, that all depends on your setup, and the picture. Maybe if you post the picture, we could give you more constructive answers to that one.

Good luck,
Nick

Hm.. guess I'll read the instructions..

But the setup is what I'm asking about, what do I need?
This is the image not in bitmap form....
