It also depends on what type of equipment you have, for instance if you have a 6 color manual press you could leave a 2 color design set up and print as needed, however transfers may be a more economical option. Also how many colors is your design? a one or 2 color design could be easily set up when a client places an order.

most our designs have 2 colors and a couple have gradients. We don't have a press, but would need to go to a screen printer. I was just wondering what options there are to do this for upcoming designs instead of keeping an inventory. Wouldnt we need to pay set up fees, custom color fees, etc for each new design if we get them screen printed per order?
