Struggling with an image created by different densities of dots. Cannot achieve a perfectly round dot from computer to printer. On screen in Corel the dots are perfectly symmetrical when printed to film the dots are jagged and not symmetrical leaving non-symmetrical dot on shirt. Using Corel Draw to MultiRip Software to Epson 1400 45 lpi, 45 degree, 230 yellow mesh screen. Help please!

The angle seems kind of high. Try a lower angle like 25 or so. Also if I remember correctly screenprinters always use elliptical dots because of the square mesh of the screen. As far as the jagged dots this sounds like it could be a resolution problem, if its a vector file and you are just printing different tints with your halftones you will get nice clean dots. However if you are printing a bitmap image the smoothness is resolution dependent.
