Part of the plan for my biz involves me making a T for a customer by simply putting thier image on a shirt. Is there a way to indemnify my company from legal action if I happen to print a customer supplied image that was copyrighted??
We have been imprinting "personalized" photo gift products for years. Avoid photos that are obviously copyrighted. IE: school photos, portrait photos. 99% of the customer photos we get are pet photos etc. It is pretty easy to tell if an image is copyrighted. Most portrait photos and school photos have a copyright stamp on the back. If you are not sure about an image, ask the customer.
