Hi everyone,

I'm going from vinyl shirts to printed.

The Epson 4880 looks like a nice printer. As well,
its in my budget.

Can anyone tell me weather this is a good printer
to get started with. I will be printing larger amounts
and I'm concerned about going with a lesser Epson
model... Please, don't hold back with your responses.
Give me the sauce.......

if your doing any sort of volume the 4880 is the smallest you shoudl go with.

If you can afford a 7880, you'll save alot in ink costs if you are doing high volume. i wish I had gone with the 7880 instead of the 4880 due to the cost of ink.

FYI...the reason the ink for the 788 0 is cheaper than the 4800 is the Sawgrass does not hold patent on sublimation ink for printers that are large format ie the 7880 and the 4800 is considered a desktop printer which is where Sawgrass has their patent..There is big difference in price to buy the printer...but if you are doing a lot, there are huge savings in ink
