So now I'm having major printing problems. I have the Epson 1400 printing using T-rip. Last week I had problems with it feeding. It feed fine on startup and printed but once it's done printing it would not feed the paper out. It just stoped printing, and the red light would start flashing. If you hit the paper feed it will feed about an 1 inch and stop. You have to turn off the printer for the paper to feed out the rest of the way.

Now it's banding and I can't print anything with tone and of course I have a hot job that has tone work. I have cleaned the rollers and my drivers are up to date. I have cleaned the heads, run alignments It does this no matter way paper or paper size I use. Any ideas?

Have you checked your ink levels?
Also, I hate telling you, but it's possible that your printer is on it's way out.
My 1800 starting acting goofy and it just got worse. I ended up replacing it with a new 1430.

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the software for the printer?
Also, have you checked to see if there's an updated driver available ?

Sounds like a good move.
Oooh, also be sure to check Epson's website, because I found a $50 rebate on their site for mine (last year) and you never know........they might have one again. Worth checking.
