Hello, I am printing with my T-jet 2 and my buyers are complaining about faded images... I am printing only on white T-shirts so I filled white ink containers with cleaning fluid, maybe my printer is using 7 colors instead of 4 and its using cleaning fluid? Here's the photo of my ink containers: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting as you can see the cleaning fluid levels in the containers is almost the same as Ink level... Is there any ways to improve printing quality? Thanks a lot.

You may want to try using the 720 2 pass print mode and then setting the copies to 2 so that the 2 pass print mode will print 2 passes. Printing 2 passes on a white t-shirt is recommended if the weight is anything heavier then 4.3oz. This will allow for a more vibrant print and the more ink on the shirt the better the wash.

One other thing to look at. Please go into FastRIP and take a screenshot of Printers-> Manage Printers.

What I'd like you to check for is that you installed the Fast T-Jet 2 as your printer, and not the Fast T-Jet 2 7 Color. If you installed the Fast T-Jet 2 7 Color, the cleaning solution would be printing on your shirts.

Your printer package is correct being set to Fast T-Jet 2 but one thing I notice from the pic is that your version is at 3.7 which is outdated. You should be at 4.7. Don't know if this is the cause of your faded images but its a possibility.

It looks like you're not using a print mode. In FastArtist, go to File -> FastRIP Setup. Make sure to choose Photo 1440 HS or Photo 720 HS. (You're currently set to "Default" print mode.) This should make a dramatic difference in your prints.

I using a heat press to cure the ink. 170 C. for 90 secs.

I took a screenshot of Fast Rip: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting
How can I check does my printer is using 4 or 7 colors?
Thanks a lot.
You'll see an even better quality of print on whites using the 720 2 pass print mode and setting it to 2 copies. If you need the updated printer package pm me and I will send it to you.

Yes, if I make 2 passes then the image is really saturated, but shouldn't it be as saturated as in design on PC after 1 pass 720x720? And all T-jets are using so much cleaning solution (or white ink) because of head cleanings ? Thanks
