Hi all. Is there an inkjet printable vinyl for van and car decals? If so, what is the best to use. thanks so much
I am assuming you mean for pigment ink?
Vinyl printed with pigment ink needs to be made for it..it is not like solvent ink which will stick to just about everything. Pigment printable vinyl cost more and has less variety to choose from.
Pigment inks fade pretty quick...so they are not used for outdoor durable decals or signs. Even with laminates it wont last long outdoors.
I recommend farming out your work till you have enough to justify getting your own solvent printer. Which is how outdoor decals are made durable.

There are tons of people who can do stuff like this for you with a quick turn around time 48hrs or so.

That works for short term things...auto graphics are expected to last much longer then these products will last.
It is very expensive also...$1.60 for a blank 8.5x11" sheet, we pay less then $0.10 for the same amount of vinyl for solvent printers.
