Attached is a photo showing a printing problem with my OKI c6150. I recently had to change the Fuser Unit and since then these lines appear on all prints. They stretch from top of page to bottom of page on the right side. Any suggestions on how to solve this will be greatly appreciated.(It did not happen before I changed the Fuser Unit)

It could be a faulty fuser since that is the thing changed when it started to happen. Have contacted Okidata support? How old is the fuser? They might give you warranty replacement it is fairly new. Why did you change the fuser?

Changed fuser because roller on the other one got damaged while cleaning because the mug paper stuck to it(wrong setting). Did'nt buy new fuser from Oki. My loss I suppose. I'm not even living in the USA.

No... Fuser is original OKI fuser sold by a dealer on e-bay. It was sealed in the original plastic and box. Do you think Oki will accept warranty claim? or would I have to contact dealer first?

Why don't the vendor first. I would surely try Okidata if I were you. At least show the full page photo that shows the voids or stripes in the whole page. Maybe they will determine if indeed it is defective fuser. Tell them that it did not show until you replaced the fuser.

Did you do visual inspection of the whole surface of both rollers? If one of the rollers have indentation that keep from applying the pressure and heat on the toner. That problem also happens on plain paper right?

BTW may ask where are located?

Hi Brian, Those lines aren,t from your fuser. They are from a drum.
Print the same design in grayscale and see if you get those lines. If so it is tour black drum.
If not, Then remove the black drum and cartridge and put the yellow drum and cartridge in the blavk location and the black in the yellow location. Now run it again in grayscale to see if the yellow is the problem. If not then remove the yellow and switch it with the magenta to run it in grayscale until you find the color drum that is causing the problem.
Do you still have the older fuser.
If so put it back in and see if the lines are still there. If so it is definite a drum problem.
