When I had my t Jet, I was told that if the print touched the white underbase, printhead was toast..sounds like a $300+ mistake. Call equipment zone or American screen supply to confirm
If wet pretreatment gets on the head, it's not good, but if it's dry, you should be ok. Did you try to run a head clean? Also inspect the bottom of the head and make sure fibers aren't built up there blocking nozzles.
