Hey all,

Having issues with white ink out put. Nothing that we haven't been able to solve in the past. However this time around we can't seem to remedy it. I've been able to eliminate all the common causes and am beginning to think it may be something within the print head itself.

Ink flow is good in all the lines, replaced the dampers... only thing left is the print head itself... correct?

So - I'm thinking a physical print head flush. Any recommendations on best way to do this?

Is it a better idea to fill some bulk cartridges with cleaning solution and run it through the printer rather than physically taking the print head apart and manually trying to flush it? Which I understand if you're not careful may cause delamination?

Would love to avoid completely replacing the print head, if I could.

Thoughts... tips... advice? Any help at all is appreciated!

Yeah - it's weird. We've been fine all winter for the most part and then bam, all the sudden white ink issues. Makes me think it's something physical in the print head. Maybe some contamination some how. Not sure.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try power cleaning with bulk ink cartridge and cleaning solution. Should I be using adjustment wizard to discharge ink lines first? I haven't done a clean cycle like this before.

How long have you let it sit without printing, over the past month? Meaning, 2 days + 3 days + 2 days + 5 days total?

We've found with white ink that clogs can end up being cumulative in nature. As in, building up over time.

Yeah - I suppose it could be a cumulative thing. It sits over the weekend, and that's pretty much it. 2 to 3 days tops depending. But it's on a cleaning cycle for every 6 hours.

Anywhere online I can find a video or instructions on reverse waterfall?

Thanks,
