Print from photoshop without RIP software?

Hello I am trying to print some halftone prints for the first time, I got it all prepared and ready to print on photoshop but I am using a mac and cant find a RIP for it as I have no money to spend on one. Is it possible to print the bitmap halftones from Photoshop without any RIP software?
