We wanted to do the PAP thing so bad in the very beginning, but we could not get a lease company to approve us because the cost of the equipment compared to the total cost of the package was upside down.

You can get all the same equipment for far less.. the one thing we do wish why we would have gotten it was because of the network that they have. You will have to do all of this on your own whereas PAP was there to help you outsource and market but if are gonna pay cash great go for it.. but selling any of the equipment for what you paid for is gonna be very hard.

I see on eBay the pad printer going for over 4K and you find one similar for less than 1500$ so you take your chances.

but this was just my experience.. I just think you can find the equipment and training for far less and learn to market and outsource yourself its gonna be hard but you aren't gonna have that big payment every month
Wow they have the same printer for less? Links? I already geting a 4 color press but that small press woulf be cool for mugs pens etc etc good long term investment
I almost went with PAP (Press A Print). I didn't get the normal lease but I was offered a lease from a different place (legit? who knows) but they wanted $1800 a month in payments. I'm thinking if I'm only making a few cents per piece (pad printing) how many am I going to have to make in order to make just the lease payment every month. I opted to pass on PAP and just buy the equipment myself and learn the hard way. I still was able to purchase the equipment, supplies, and blanks for way less than what they wanted just for the equipment. I think they're in business to sell "business kits" more than anything else.

It's been a couple of years now and they still send me invites when they are in town or having a free weekend. Just not interested.

Print A Press and Press A Print are 2 different companies, but do pretty much the same thing - sell over priced business kits for screen and pad printing.
