Hi All!
I'm hoping someone can help me price a job i'm about to do. It's for 2 separate decals. One is about 6' x 1', and the other is probably about a 4' square, which is a 2 color. I normally charge $5 for a small window decal, which is about .25 per square inch. That would make the 6' decal about $200, which seems high, but I've never done anything this big, so I don't know. not much detail in logos. any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Even with larger items, your material price is still usually fairly low compared to the value of your time and equipment amortization. You should probably have a small markup on material cost and then a fair markup on your time / overheads. Using this approach, a larger decal doesn't really cost too much more to the customer than a smaller decal. Your time to cut and weed the larger decal isn't much more than the small decal. People do expect larger decals to cost more than smaller decals but the relationship isn't linear as your overhead amortization isn't much more.

A typical car door decal we sell that is 15" round to for $140/pair. Hope that helps.
