Thanks in advance for any help provided. What I'm trying to do is preview an EPS file when I'm importing. Some of my clipart is in EPS format and just shows a square box with "EPS" in it. I would like to see what the file contains so I don't have to rely on the books so much. Any ideas?

Oh, sorry. I'm using CDX5.

Adobe Acrobat can open .eps files (as .pdf).

I'm not having any issues opening them. I just want to preview them before I open them.

what is your computer operating system?

Windows 8 displays files differently than Windows XP

Hmmnn? The only time I've had an issue is when I have dragged an eps FILE into an eps window. It could be the image is in a clipping mask. If you use Illustrator, click on the image and see if it gives you the option to "release clipping mask". Also, check to see if you are in key line mode. Try opening in Photoshop to see if you can view the image. Just a few ideas. . .

Adobe bridge does a good job for viewing files.

I also use adobe bridge to scan through my library of artwork and videos too.
