Pretreat white t-shirt or not ??

Hi , i have a solo machine by texmac and my problem is when i print dark color on white t-shirt the color doesn't come out nice they are light the black looks grey and the red looks pink, after i cure them so do i have to put the fast color pretreat on it before to have nice color or it's another problem ??

It's worth a try, if you print darks (pretreated) and the colors are fine with them then yes I would try it, but bear in mind that the pretreatment for light fabric is different.

We find that some artwork requires pretreatment on white shirts to get the color saturation we want, that said today I'm printing an order of 46 white shirts and the artwork looks fine without any pretreatment.

We use pretreat for lights. It helps make the colors pop. But as said on some art work i still have to boost saturation and or do 2 passes.

Also, there are a couple of settings you can adjust plus a couple of other options with Solo to get deeper blacks, richer colors - we are getting very impressive results here just at default settings. Check with your dealer for the updates.
