I had someone asking me to press 100 screen printed transfers onto 1 side of shirts. I quoted him but am curious to know what some of you would charge...he gets the transfers from same place I do so quality should not be an issue

You need to consider the electric cost in your area for the time you press (in my area price varies by time), then how many shirts per hour, figure time for pre press, aligning the image, press and repeat when you know the number you can do per hour. Then just determine what you want to earn per hour

I like to quote 2.00 per press but will do it for 90.00 an hour....On a "roll" I can get over 50 pieces an hour.....

i ended up charging him $2/press, I "let him" talk me down to $2 from $3

good point, i wanted $3 so i should of said $4! but $2 wasn't bad either.

if you wanted $3 then I would of started at $6 and stopped at $3.00. Like when I get a DJ Gig I always ask there budget and go from there up but not down.
