I hear you have to shake the pretreatment on a regular basis. Do you do this?

You didn't cure at a hot enough temp or your paper was dirty.

Yes been sitting pretreat.

I use heat press @ 330 for 30sec

Roger that.... Image Armor HAS to be HEAT SET. Airdrying will do what you saw. It has to be activated with HEAT.....

Dupont PT doesn't do that. I have pretreated many shirts and let them air dry overnight without issue.

Yeah won't happen overnight and true with DP. Didn't he say it was sitting for a while?

DuPont doesn't do that at all. i've gone days before heat pressing. but i only use Image Armour now because the wash-fastness is soooo much better.

Yeah I can leave DuPont sitting for days but if I throw too much on the garment it does glaze but doesn't crystalize like that

So with pretreat, IA needs to be heat set and Dupont can air dry, is this correct?

If IA needs to be heat set, can you run that through a conveyor to set it, or does it really need to be heat pressed?

Correct. Image armor has to be heat set.

Yes, you can run it through a dryer, I have several people doing that, but beware of the fibers popping up during the process. Most will run through, slight damp the. A quick press to finish it off.

We are doing some golf towels, and can't really use a heat press because it smashes the terry in the fabric. Without a slight press is it not possible to use IA?

Hover your heat press or run it down a dryer. That should do.
