CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH SOME ADVICE
do you wash shirt before or after putting graphic on
and do you wash it after graphic is on before getting it to customer
:confused:

Yeah, the only time we wash shirts before/after printing when we use an experimental technique or something out of the ordinary.

i am talking inkjet not silk screen
is there different methods in this same topic pre/post treatment
i would like customer to keep shirt with that fresh vibrant look for as long as possible
recently i made a shirt using red as main font color
it was worn at a family picnic the person was very active playing sports
AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WASNT GOOD FOR BUSINESS
IT BLED (mainly red)
AND AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE
NEXT YEAR SALES MIGHT NOT BE THERE
THATS why i need to know what to do with shirt
as far as treating them so they wont bleed(or less as possible)

Even had you washed that shirt beforehand, it would have still bled/faded in the wash. It's the application, not whether the shirt is washed or not.

Tell us what type of printer ink (pigment, dye, etc.) and brand of transfers you are using and we can give you some advice on a better method.

i am using epson 1280 which i may stop because of just two ink cartridges and the monitor 3 ink level doesnt work
so when the light flashes i have to replace both black/multi cartridge
i also am using an epson 1400 with epson inks in both printers (claria )
and as far as transfer paper i just ordered some projet soft?
i learned about here
and i have been using the inkjet paper best blank offers
and i use jerzee 50/50
i am looking at gildan 50/50 to see if that may help
