Powerclean - Target a channel?

1373 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Resolute DTG
Is it possible?

I've probably asked this before but, another try won't hurt.

Powercleaning is pretty good at shifting blocked channels, the trouble is ALL/unblocked channels get cleaned also.

Is there a utility that can target a powerclean on a chosen channel? The closest utility I have to this is Printer Jockey, it targets an individual channel but isn't as vigourous as a powerclean.

Cheers

The power clean uses the capping station which pulls all channels and is impossible to target only one. If you could somehow pinch off the other channels, it could work, but with all the additional pressure, I don't know the after effect and probably wouldn't attempt it. Honestly, I don't think there is really any way outside of spiking your head to target a single channel.
I know you're right Jerid - would be good if it was possible to lift the lever on the colours so the suction worked on the white channels.
I think Power clean with syringe each channel is possible. Actually stronger than power clean and less waste ink. Syringe Head clean is not sucking by capping station push ink/cleaning solution with syringe. Same effect as power clean.
Syringe is good for Dtg too not just in hospital :). Ours are without needle, lol. Just don't use it on stuff melted on spoon.
Cheers! Beers are on me always.
Ha! "Stuff melted on spoon." that made me laugh.

You hit the nail right on the head, we have always had this feature ! I dare not post a picture (self promotion). I will post a picture on our Facebook page on Monday.
