I plan to buy heat press DK or hotronix soon, does this need special outlet to set up? or can just plug it in normal apartment outlet.

In the US most outlets are 15 amps. and that is shared thru the whole circuit. So you may have trouble depending on what size press you want and your apartments wiring.
A DK20 should be on a 20 amp outlet.
IDK stahls press specs off the top of my head but im sure you can find it on their web site.

I have a 15 amps microwave on this outlet with TV30inch plugged in at the same time & i have no problem with it. I think i would be doable since Hotronix is 14.5amps with 1800 watts power compare to Iron 2800watts with 12.5 amps..

We always recommend using a dedicated circuit.
