I was just wondering if its possible to Over dry a screen (after coating it with emulsion) ?


also the coated screen is it ok in a closet with no light getting in at all + no fan just sitting there layed up against a wall? for like 6 hours.

Screens are usually fine for up to a month as long as they're not exposed to light. A closet is fine. And no you can't over dry a screen. You do want to make sure you lay it flat(frame side up) while it's drying so the emulsion doesn't run.

Thanks; one more thing do i tape the design to my exposure unit or to the dried screen?

To your screen.

You really need to do more research before you move any further forward. If you don't know where to tape your positive, then you probably don't really know about exposure.

There are great tutorials on every screen print subject you can think of on You Tube. Look up both Ryonet and Catspit Productions. It will probably take you a solid week of watching, but it will save you a BUNCH of money, time and frustration.
