hi , I have graphtec ce5000 and i had issues while weeding . Now i changed the blade but it gives me poor cutting results especially when cutting small shapes.

Hows your artwork ? It is vector no ? Your plotter will only cut what its told, or receives in file ?

either cutting mat ruined or cutting pressure is too high. set the pressure 8 for new blade

My artwork is vector and i am using illustrator with cutting master2

My settings are :
offset:0
force : 6
speed : 5
quality : 2
offset angle: 15

and i am using a vinly adhesive roll.

Check your Teflon cutting strip. Is it groved? You might need to replace it.

According to this pictures I will advice you to check first the setting of your blade making sure you set it with your ATM card, check the pressure force during cutting, lastly check setting on software you use make sure the cutting radius is set to zero. I dont know the type of software you use anyway but just check carefully. I can not say blade because you said it is a new blade.

Is this clip art or did you draw it, take a look at it using wire frame. Mark

You might need to reduce the offset angle to like 0 and cut a sample and see what happen

Have you tried a factory re-set on the Graphtec? turn power off, hold down the "up" arrow button (^) and turn the power on while holding the button. NOVRAM will begin and just follow the queues.

Does your artwork look smooth in AI, or like it does when you cut it?
