Nice site but to many color for me. (neon) I would put the pictures of what you sell on top, to grab attention, then your welcome below it. Just my thoughts, John

Thanks for the feedback John, I do so many sites that are plain and bland and I've always wanted to have a fun, popping colorful website, so I did mine that way!! It really suits my personality, I'll think about switching the products to the top, I still have samples to add, it is still a work in progress ...
Belinda, my brain just had a hard time seeing the words as they were in different colors, when I go to look at a site I want to see what they have not read, Hope it helps, John

I think your backround has too much going on all the zigzags are distracting but everything else is cool.

Ok here is my take. It loads really really slow, I tried to look at the tshirts section but all I got was red ziz zags. It never loaded and I have cable so something is making your site lag really badly. I think it need to be more organized and show products right away. It would also help to have an about us page that tells how you do what you do, and who you are. I think it needs to be much more simple and easy to use, you would be suprised how fast people will bounce off of your site, if they are not impressed right away. I am telling you these things as constructive critisism :) And I hope it helps with the building of your site. I will come back and check it again :) Good luck, I think its great that you offer alot of different products, I would find a better way of getting that across right away.

From a Designers point of view, I will have to tell you that your idea is really good, but the layout is too overwhelm!

Try to keep your content more pleasant, don't use too many colors for the content, you are scaring customers away. Don't, please do not overuse the Bold style all over your site, bold words are designed specifically to highlight important parts of your context, even out your text colors as well.

As a final advice, design your web site for your customers taste, not for your own! Good luck!

Hi, thanks for your feedback ... I can't figure out why my site loaded so slow for you, I have DSL and it loads fine for me. The cart itself is slower than I would like but not bad enough to be a problem atleast it hasn't been for me. Will have to pay closer attention and ask a few people if they are having that problem.
OK, I have changed a few things ... I toned down the background quite a bit, I think the site is colorful enough and I can see how it could be distracting. I also put the products on the top and it does look better. Will work on the About page. It is a work in progress, still have a lot to do.

Thanks everyone for your constructive feedback!!
much better macat i think changing the color of the lines in the background was a wise choice. because you chose a softer color its no longer distrating to ones visions. Also moving the products to the top was good aswell.

Good Job:)

Hi Belinda. Your site loaded quickly enough for it not be be an issue. I didn't see the original site, but if you have toned down the graphics, then the result is that is isn't too distracting now.

The 'this site is best viewed at' header is rather archaic and was used on sites in the past. All my own sites 'autospan' to fit the users screen resolution, which is more the norm nowadays. It is not a realistic proposition to expect users to alter their screen resolution to view a site.

The pictures on your home page lack clarity. The cat on the top left looks very fuzzy, the stationery looks like half the graphic is missing.

On the t-shirt page I was confused by the Photos should be a minimum of 200 resolution and 1200x1200, as perhaps would most people. Are you talking about 1200 pixels, or 1200mm. People will not email to ask what it means, they will just simply go to another site.

I couldn't see what payment options you offer, so I personally wouldn't buy without knowing that information beforehand.

The refund and shipping page needs a little more work on it. You are currently stating that all sales are final and you accept no returns. What if I am a customer that gets a badly printed shirt I'm not happy to accept, or you've printed up the wrong size?? Comes accross as very sharp, needs toning down a bit.

Hope all this helps. :)

Have you thought about moving away from a white BG to a color? I find white to look very bland from a design perspective.

The layout is very useable and straight forward though. good luck with the site

cheers

It does fit all browsers as far as I know, I resized my logo to fit all browser sizes which makes it look smaller in bigger resolutions.

Not sure what you mean about the stationary looking like half the graphic is missing, it looks fine to me, can you be more specific please? The t-shirt is going to be switched out, just haven't gotten to it yet.

Have added a PayPal logo and a blurb about taking PP or Money Orders to all products, thanks for mentioning that.

Will work on the returns page, not sure what I can do there, I do ship everything insured and delivery confirmation, wouldn't that cover any breakage? I really try to make sure what I'm sending is a good quality print so a badly printed shirt shouldn't be an issue. I also get an OK on what I'm printing before I do the project so that hopefully mistakes aren't made. I've reworded that page, can you see if you think it sounds fair now, refunds & shipping? Thanks for your useful suggestions. :D

Hi Rory,
Thanks for your comments. I do use color backgrounds on many of my sites but since this one has so much color going on already I thought I'd better stick with white here. That can easily be switched out should I decide to get "crazier" with color!! :p

I am using IE 6.0 The stationery graphic has a small image of a cat occupying the top third of the placeholder and a thin patterned bar at the bottom of the placeholder. Doesn't look right?

That is much better Belinda. You need to lose the 50 percent refund offer though, or you'll have every scam merchant out there, trying to take advantage.

I was worried about that (refund of 50%), I have removed it. The stationary graphic is suppose to be the actual way a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper would look. Your pic and address at the top and a small border at the bottom with your writing area in the middle. Not sure why you are seeing it weird like that.

Thanks, better get some of my clients work done, lots of website updates behind now messing around with my store!!
