I bought one of those Ink/Emulsion removers recently from Victory and it didn't work at all! I used to use a Bean-a-Do product which do an ok job but not great. Is there a REAL GOOD Plastisol Ink remover out there to use to clean up my screens before reclaiming? Thank you for any help.

Tried EcoBlue from GoodEarth Supplies and it worked pretty good for me. Home Page
I thinks Ink Remover not work at all, some spots are still there at screen use pretty hot water to remove that. I thinks
Basikboy....an ink/emulsion remover is not for the ink only cleanup that may be why you had a problem.

You should call M&R sales and service i know they have a couple on press (plastisol ink )cleaners to choose from.

Nice folks too
Try enviro-wash from chemical consultants..it's press wash and I love it.. Easy on the nose

One of my distributors carries Chromaline 920, anyone ever use this before?
The most effective cleaners are also the nastiest. MEK, or methyl ethyl ketone is extremely effective as a press wash, and also extremely effective for damaging brain cells.

Personally, I think of the low-VOC offerings like the TS series from CCI, and stuff like Plastisolve 842 from Easiway to be the best balance between value, effectiveness, and health effects.

edit: Although I should try footprints suggestion--I like their stuff.
I agree ScreenFoo, I was getting desperate at one point because of the In effectiveness that I just turned to Screen Opener which worked but Inhaling that stuff is terrible! I may try this Chromaline 920
As I posted earlier.. I highly recommend enviro-wash.. Easy on the nose, works great, does not leave a oily film... I worked at a shop that used acetone. I brought a spray bottle of enviro-wash and the shop owner never looked back.
i like citra paste from ryonet...works great for me!

I was actually considering this, the video they show on Ryonet looks pretty Impressive. Do you dilute this with water at all?

On a side note, I wish Ryonet sold their screens cheaper as It would be a one stop shop for me. GM is still super solid on their screen prices and shipping time.
My first question for you would be whether you are looking for an on-press cleaner (an ink remover that evaporates and does not require water to rinse the ink away) or a screen wash (an ink remover that is designed to be rinsed away with water in a washout sink). At this point you will have two much different products to look into. Best of luck finding something that works great for you and makes the job easier.
Definitely a Screen Wash.
Ok, well I guess I am going to have to go with the Chromaline 920 because I wouldn't get my order from Ryonet till early next week where as If I order from GM which carries the Chromaline I will receive it In one day because I am In Illinois and they are In Michigan. Can't wait till next week, need to start reclaiming a.s.a.p. Hope this stuff works well, they only sell by the Gallon.

you can dilute it but i use it full strenght...i wet the screen then add a couple sprays from a spray bottle and then use a scrubbing pad to get the ink off...so i guess by me wetting the screen first it is kind of diluting it...but it does work great and i as well do most of my shopping at ryonet as well...i just bought 27 newman screens so i will be doing my own screens before too long...i just have to find a good price on the mesh...
I've purchased some great stuff from T&j printing in IL. If you are looking for a good screen wash that would ship fast!
Franmar has several ink degraders. CCI has a couple enviro. CCI also has stronger ones that are more solventy.
Big trick is clean up right away. Then the franmar works impeccable.
Not sure I can post a link Lucky so I just messaged it to you.
