I just started selling the iphone covers this week and already am constantly getting emails from ppl wanting a different phone model. one lady emailed me today that she works in a big corporation and had been showing the one she bought from me off and everyone wanted one but most didn't have an iphone or not the right model !

I've been looking online trying to find some plastic blank cases to buy and then experiment with cutting the sublimatable vinyl onto. but heck as much interest as there is I might even have to look at cutting the aluminum myself (which I know means major buck equipment but there really is a market out there).

anyone else looking into how to do this for other phones?? I think they vinyl like the mates or subliflex that novachrome sells might be acceptable if I can find a source of blank cases for other phones. I tried the subliflex the other day and it does print beautifully, really even better than the aluminum.

has anyone bought from them? they have iphone cases in colors plus htc desire and samsung i and II.

they show the iphone 4 in colors other than white and black but I'm pretty sure that is an iphone 3 in the picture as it has a different shaped camera hole? just looked and its not the 3 but I have seen that shape on another case just don't remember.

My question is how did you get the word out to all of your customers to stir up all the excitement? Sound slike you did something right.

I've been selling online since 97. I don't sell offline. 15 years you learn a few things.

what else would you like to know? I don't have a print shop, I wouldn't begin to know how to introduce these to offline customers (other than at craft fairs and in crafts malls which is my only offline arena).

I get more requests everyday. samsung, lg, ipod touch for the most part. hope someone is listening. I could do phone covers all day long if they would get more models !

you mean build a factory, learn all about plastics and rubber and mold my own cases? sure, I'll get right on that

I have contacted several Chinese companies and am looking into the 3d sublimation process.

I'm even looking into making cell phone skins though that's a last resort.

but I think the companies who have representatives on these boards need to hear about the demand for this product for other phones. I'm not sure why you had a problem with my telling them through this forum. have a nice day.
