So I'm sure many folks are interested in a P800 DTG beast!
17x20 printable area??? Yep. No doubt!
So if there is more recent info available, please list it here:
1. Conversion steps - Can't find these at all.
2. Tray kits -
Industrial Base - Industrial Base - A2 - Epson 3880/3800/3885/SC-P800 - USD $1,600.00 : UFO Printer, Flatbed Printer, Textile Machine, UV Printer, DTG solutions, Uncoated Direct Printing

3. Refillable cartridges? - good source?
* Stability and function - Can any refillable cartridges from eBay, etc, work without issue? Can they only work until empty then you do something funky to reset them? Can they be reset unlimited times or just like 30? Do you need special chips or a bypass?
4. Lastly, is there anyone who will build / sell a completed printer based on the P800?
* I know the Nikki-DTG by Craig is based on the 1430 and it's awesome! (His V2 platen works like the UFO ones.)
* The P600 - No idea of anyone selling one complete.
* P800 - No idea of anyone selling one complete.
* Larger?? - No clue.
So, C88 --> CMYK, no white... (not a really good option)
1430 --> CMYK+2 for white..
P600 / P800 --> CMYK+5 for white..
Ideally making a print on a 12x16 or 16x20 with enough white to get full coverage is what I'm after, and if I can get it pre-built, even better!
Any current info on the missing bits, please post! Esp if Dave / UFO Printers would sell a completed P800 unit!
