Check into a program called FindMyFont. www.findmyfont.com
Best $40 I've ever spent. One time fee. Has saved me countless hours. Doesn't find every single one, but finds more than not and sometimes finds something close that I can use if it doesn't find the exact one. Be sure to load your personal font files on your computer too. It will search yours and some online sites like dafont.com

the myfonts.com WhatTheFont page is a good free resource for font ID, if you have an image with decent resolution and good contrast.
