Hello I am trying to find out what ink do I use for mugs Dye Sublimation ink or is it Pigment I'm using a Epson C 88 +
If your trying to make prints to use on sublimation mugs...then you will need to use dye sublimation ink in your printer.

At the risk of you all howling with laughter. If I print T shirts (transfer to cotton) and mugs, I need two printers? Please forgive me. I live somewhere fairly remote, and have to get this right before making final plans.
In theory, yes, but I have printed on JPSS and Jet-Opaque transfer papers and used sublimation inks. Results were great, but this was on cotton tote bags and drawstring bags so I'm not sure how the print would hold up on a t-shirt after a few washings. So, without testing this, I'd say you need a pigment printer for t-shirts and a sub printer for the rest. It's not practical to keep changing ink types in a single printer as it will cost a lot for all the wasted ink used in performing flushes and head cleaning.

If you're using carts and you just occasionally need to print pigment (or occasionally dye sublimation) then you could use 1 printer. But as Webtrekker said, switching back and forth a lot would cost you more in ink waste than just buying another couple hundred dollar printer.
