Last week I finally bought a T-Jet 2, they're pretty hard to find in the UK so I'm really happy!

It was a previously used system, but came with a new print head installed.

I've set up the bulk ink system and all cartridges are primed. When attempting to carry out a print head alignment test, nothing whatsoever prints out onto the paper/shirt. I followed the dvd's instructions to carry out multiple head cleans to get the ink from the cartridges into the actual print head, I have probably done upwards of 50 of these now and still no joy.

According to the instructions, after 5 or so head cleans the ink from a new cartridge should prime the print head. I can confirm that if I put cleaning fluid into the capping station, a head clean will make this fluid pass into the waste ink tank, the problem that I am having is that the print head is not releasing ink into the capping station or onto prints, if I dab the print head, there is no ink present.

I have ensured that the encoder strip is clean and I took the measure of flushing the print head, with the fluid passing through without any problems .... this is so confusing!!

I have read all of the instructions provided and watched the accompanying dvd several times, but I feel I just need some assurance that this isn't a simple problem that I am overlooking.

I hate to say this but it sounds like a blown fuse on the main board....it happens...happened to us twice.....

I had the exact same problem for the past 2 days, I flushed out the print head and the black did not come through, so I replaced the head. The ink runs through like a charm. I just recently bought my tjet and it was the same as yours(used with new parts,heads,etc..) I am actually having trouble now with the blue ink. The blue ink is coming through so fast that it is leaking on the shirt or the metal when the shirt is not in. Any suggestions?

The cyan ink has the lightest viscocity of all the inks so the height of the ink in the bulk bottle is important. Try lowering the amount of ink in the bottle and your ink pressure should decrease.
