PLEASE PLEASE HELP. I have a job I need to get done ASAP. My cutter was running fine but after not using it for a month I turned it on, had it plugged in to the usb. It started and blade moved but VLCD did not recognize that it was connected. I don't know if I moved the carriage while machine was on but now it turns, hear motor running but carriage does not move. No error. Can't turn on/off line. It is online but I doesn't connect or move. I am new to this but please give me suggestions (in simple terms) You can email me directly at my aol account which is petrkoch. Please help

I would suggest you monitor your post here for responses. If people email you direct, no one else will get help out of it if they have the same problem.

Can you post your cutter model number, what software you're using, what operating system version, how you have it connected, etc.

I would contact your vendor or GCC directly. The fact that you are pressing your arrows and you hear the motor running, but the carriage head is not moving sounds like a mechanical issue... May be something simple....

Been there, done that. It's a picky little beast. Now I just leave the cord plugged into computer and unplug from the cutter. Or I guess you could label your usb port.

What cutter do you have?
Is there a reset for the cutter?
If the motors are spinning but the carriage or the rollers aren't moving it could be broken belts which are usually replaceable.
