Hi I have a cancer benefit this weekend and have about 100 more shirts to press and all the sudden my heat press lost pressure by that I mean when i close it there is no tension. I have one of the asc 365 heat presses just plain, with the bolt in the center of back that you turn to apply more pressure, it wouldn't turn anymore so I oiled it and was able to turn some, but it still what hold the pressure once i close lid it loosen back up.Hope this makes sense and someone can please HELP me I'm starting to panic!!!!!

sounds like you stripped the screw that controls the pressure. The threads are stripped and slipping back. Not much you can do without taking apart the top platten and seeing what is stripped. Either the screw or the hole wih the threads in the platten. Either way, not an easy fix.

OH NO!!!! Please keep your fingers crossed my auto guy said he will look at it.I guess he would know as much as anyone else(I hope)
He will as soon as he sees it. Let me know if I'm correct.

OK see if this makes sense!!!!!! there is a metal plate underneath the long bolt that turns for more pressure.Somehow I broke that plate in half???? Not sure what kind of metal the Chinese use but it wasn't very strong.
If you can take the plate off and take it to a machine shop, i'm sure that they can make one for you. Sounds simple to me.

Thank God for my auto mechanic he already fixed it for me.
Thank you for all your help!:)
Glad your back in business.
