I searched everywhere I possibly could....PLEASE HELP! i'm trying to figure out the wiring on my clamshell heat press. There are two sets of wires coming out of the upper platen. One set is 2 wires Red and blue. The other set is one blue wire and a single wire that splits into a thinner red and black wire.

Not rocket science, but you should open the cover and check where these wires are actually going.

One set is 2 wires Red and blue.

My guess is that these are powering the heating element.

The other set is one blue wire and a single wire that splits into a thinner red and black wire.

The thick one is probably the ground wire, and the 2 thin ones the thermocouple.
