I'm in the process of choosing a shirt type and brand. Initially, I was firm on using 100% cotton shirts but yesterday I was wearing a favorite t-shirt of mine. The brand is Rothco and I picked it up at an Army surplus store. It's a single-color, 50/50 blend and it's extremely light -- very comfortable. I just asked for a wholesale catalog from their site to check out their prices (they also have 100% cotton).

Anyway, I know that a lot of the custom plastisol places like SMG, First Edition, etc. say their plastisols work with 100% cotton and 50/50 blends but I wanted to know if anyone had any experience applying plastisol transfers via heat press to 50/50 shirts. Is it the same process? Same quality? Any problems? Durability issues? Anything else I need to know about 50/50's since I am considering going that route?

Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated.
