Hello and thanks for any input.
I just got my shirts back from a local screen printer and I have realized that some colors feel heavier than others even within the same design.
Are there colors that tend to be "richer" and that causes the difference?
Also if experts reply, I would love to hear your opinion about what happens when you print on dark color shirts and you are not using a white underbase.
I appreciate it.
Cheers,

Cheers,
when printing on darks with light colored inks with no underbase, you often have to print/flash/print or lay down a thick layer of ink.

The opacity will be lower. Sometimes this is a desired effect, sometimes you want the colours to pop.

Flouro inks are the worst for opacity. If you print flouro green without a white underbase, it is almost invisible.
