Just got an email from Adobe to download and test the new Photoshop CS6. This thing is chock full of both tweaks and major new features but this new dark interface isn't happening. They're looking for feedback. I think a lot of people have already stated that they can't deal with the dark interface. Otherwise, it's a monster release with more "magical" features.

Correction: The dark interface can be changed in the preferences. There are 4 presets ranging from very dark to a light gray. It's still low contrast and so will be bad for people with bad eyes, but it's pretty good.

Photoshop feels very complete to me. CS6 just continues to add more luxurious features and tweak existing things so you might work faster. It's an amazing program but that dark interface is probably going to be a show stopper for a lot of people because CS5 is already the most powerful raster software in the world. I don't think people "need" CS6. It may wow you into buying it, but CS5 or 4 seriously gets the job done.
