can i print a regular PHOTOGRAPICS picture image ..( bitmap/jpeg ) taken from a hand held camera then scanned onto a computer then printed directly onto a transfer paper so that i can heat press it onto a shirt ? or do i have to edit the type of image it is into a vector image before i can print it? ?

because i see PHOTOGRAPICS pictures of people faces & family photos on t-shirts that i can tell is not made by DTG printers because they look heat pressed on...

if i can do this with regular pictures what kind of transfer paper will i need to look for to do photographic real pictures with ? or can i use any of them to do real people pictures that are scanned to computer

you are on the right track, save it as a jpg and you should be ok as long as you are not planning to manipulate it in any way.

you can use any paper but the better quality of paper the happier you will be with the outcome. and remember to set your printer for picture and or mirror image for white and light colors.

.

well i wonted to conture cut around the picture on the transfer paper with a cutter

and inorder for me to do that i would have to set registration marks so that the conture eye reads it...before i print it

can i do that with a photographic picture ...will that affect it...by me adding registration marks ...will i be able to do that or will i have to change it into a vector if i set registration marks to it?
