Hi!

I'm planning on opening my own business; my main(possibly only) product would be sublimated phone/tablet cases. I haven't been able to figure out, whether to do 2D(black or white sides) or 3D(picture on sides too). I personally like 3D better, because I think it looks better.

I have heard that 3D vacuum presses are not really reliable and they often fail. Is this true?

Is it easier to mess up 3D cases, because when they come from the heat press they can be easily deformed?

Any recommendations/experiences are more then welcome

Hi Marthenk,

The cheap 3D heat presses do tend to have trouble a fair amount.

There are some nicer 3D heat presses that are a lot more reliable, but they are quite a bit more expensive.

I really like the look of the 3D phone cases, but they aren't as protective as some of the 2D phone cases.
