i just dont know much about it, just want to get some cheap equiptment to play with an learn to start.... im the kinda person ill get a hobby and 6 months later have another hobby an forget about my last on

if you are doing 50 shirts a week...that is 8-10 a day...you do NOT want a cheap set up!

I think you could get some better used equipment for that $900+. If you troll craigslist for about a month you should be able to get a good heat press for under $500. If you aren't thinking this would be for impulse purchases then I'd just order your stuff predone from stahl's for vinyl or F&M for screen printed. That's what I'm doing right now and it's working. Sure I'm not making the extra $1 or 2, but I haven't generated the business where those dollars end up being a vinyl cutter. Vinyl is a very small part of my business and not enough to justify that expense right now. But if you have a storefront and have a walk in client that wants one shirt right now then it's a must.

I'd rather have a good used heat press than 2 subpar boat anchors.
