Any one have experience pressing siser vinyl onto a moisture wicking or performance style shirt? I have some orders coming in asking for these types of shirts and have never attempted them so just seeing what works for others before I start testing.

Thanks

Never used siser, but printed htv onto plenty of performance polyester.
Usualy problem free, but do a test print first ( for each garment colour ) to check for dye migration. Best to knock the temperature back by 10 degrees, if you can, or use a low temp. vinyl.

Problem with performance fabric is that the dye starts to migrate at about 160c/320f - sometimes lower -so just take care

Siser is telling me to run 290 degrees with firm pressure for 15 seconds so I will start there. thanks

Sounds sensible.

Most fabric colours are ok, but there are occasional problems with blues and reds and other darker colours. Migration doesn't always show immediately, so if possible try one and leave ver night until you are sure.

Worst case you will have to use a blockout vinyl.
