Hello everyone! My best friend and I have been really close for the past 10 years. We have a lot of similar interests and he said we should start making shirts this past Friday. This forum kept popping up every time I did a google search. After 30 searches I stopped using google and just searched here. I'm doing most of the research/funding to get started but he we doing most of the designs and marketing.

We planing doing very small runs and one off shirts. This is going to be a weekend/after work/around school type deal. I want to get good before we try to sell anything.

So far the plan is to buy:
StoreFront -- InkJetCarts Online Store
And a geo knight press off of Craigslist.

We are going to make a few here and there and try to sell to friends, eBay, and etsy. If things take off, we will start a business and obviously upgrade equipment along the way.

I have about 30 bookmarks saved from this forum and spent countless hours on here for the past three days. I think I have all of the basics covered.

Welcome I started out 5 years ago with a heat press a vinyl cutter and some pigment inks and epson printer. It was slow at first but now is really taking off. I have been screen printing just abou 4.5 years now and have upgraded equipment like 4 times. It gets more challanging but I have had a blast along the way. If you get frustrated just ask here most everyone is willing to help and gives good advice. My only regret is not finding the tshirt forums till alost 3 years after i started. I would be much further had I did. I still print at home in a garage out back but I am working on a deal for a building now. Good luck
