Hello Guys,
Love the forum..
Well I bought a Hobby Lite small press, the first two hot peels were great.
Then the third was a disaster!
Half the paper stuck to the shirt the other half was fine and came off easy.

Hobby lite
med pressure
375 deg
7 sec
Tee 50/50 Hanes
per instruction from BestBlanks
HP printer
To Much Heat?
Not enough?
Thanks

Yeah, what kind of paper, and did you preheat the shirt to get the moisture out of it?

50/50 shirts still have moisture in them. Just as much as 100%. Press that shirt until its bone dry, and see if you get a different result.

If there is water trapped under the transfer, when you press the transfer onto the shirt, steam from the shirt will rise of into the transfer, causing the the transfer not to stick to the shirt properly. That is why you have to get all of the moisture out of the shirt.

I have never used bestblanks paper, so I cant reccomend a temp or time.

Hello again
Of course it took longer then i thought to press
But...
I Found the Problum! Not enough time and heat and i should pre heat.
I took the shirt that had half to paper still attached and put a flat iron
to it. Man I almost burned it but I wanted a lot of heat.
Well the paper peeled off so easy !
So, I increased to 400deg for 15 sec, pre heat, med press.
and wow great result.
Now the paper peels of sooo easy with no pulling. to hell with the
directions!
Thanks
I hope this helps somebody

Dang,
I finally found a post where I could actually help, and the question has been answered. My wife convinced me to go with the hobby lite and said that if in a year we needed a bigger one, that would be a good problem. When we first started almost every transfer got stuck half way. (I have a box full of dog shirts with messed up designs) After pre pressing and pressing for 17 secs the paper just peels off. I also have seen a picture of a guy peeling a transfer and it helped a lot. I believe the guy is a member here and also has his own forum, but the pic showed him pulling from one corner to the other, not up like I was doing. Now my biggest problem is putting the text on right and making sales.
