Ok time to hit the panic button.
All my .cst files for cut studio were in this directory.. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Roland DG Corporation\CutStudio\Symbol\Firstgroup
This is the folder cut studio accesses for the “symbol” menu – except of course my group is called “firstgroup”.
I thought I’d get organised and sort my files into groups. So I created a few new folders (i.e.) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Roland DG Corporation\CutStudio\Symbol\vehicle misc and promptly moved all my .cst files into their new homes.
Started up cutstudio and all the folders are there, and the file names, but the icon itself is blank and when I click on it.. nothing….
So I went to reverse what I had done, tried to copy the files out of the folders back into the original folder – they will not open, access is denied. Same if I try to open the files from the folder – access is denied. Cannot move them, cannot copy them, cannot do anything!!!!
HELP????? All my designs are there.. thankfully I have backups but nothing of the last 2 or 3 weeks - which I am desperate to access as its my most current work/designs and tweaks!
