I face the problem, that i have to stretch a 7.5 inch x 4.5 inch screen. any idea, how i could do that?

would be nice to hear, how you would do it, without screen printer tools.

Wood frame, I'd just hand stretch and staple it, and live with the lousy tension.

Metal frame, I'd stop kidding myself.

Then there's no way you're gonna be able to re-mesh it without a proper stretcher. Sorry.

Get a new normal screen, glue the small screen to the mesh, cut outside of the small screen to free it from the big screen. Done.
