So we just started a shirt company in Belguim. Looking for the best way to charge credit cards online. Seen many ppl like Ogone and Neteller but can seem to find an easy way that suits a small starting company. Any ideas?
I have used Paypal's credit card payment facilities since I set up my site, and have had no trouble accepting online credit card payments. Free to install with a % charge per payment thereafter - but compared with the banks, this is a quick and cheap solution.
We use quickbooks pro for our accounting. It has a creditcard service you can get set up with I believe. We used to run the cards right through quickbooks via entering the info by hand. we have now purchadsed a card swiper that sticks to the computer moniter and works great.
Use Paypal credit card payment until you get set up and begin to grow. I set up my site, and have had no trouble accepting online credit card payments. It's free with a percentage tooken out but compared to banks its a great startup system.
Yeah I'd say go the paypal route. That's what I should have done in the beggining months. I got a merchant account and now I'm paying 60$ a month for the next 6 months, and so far I've only had a few orders online.
I'm starting off using Paypal because it doesn't cost anything to use...they charge you per sale. If things pick up I plan to use a standard merchant account.
