Hello guys, I have a new Hix Swingman and new to heat press. I accidentally turn the temperature knob the wrong direction. Instead of turning anti-clockwise back to off position I turn it clockwise and now I can't tell for sure what temperature it is. I have to press a bunch of shirt for a art and craft fair this Sat. Any advise?

Sam dont you have a temp gauge on the press, or a digiatal? or at least 1-10?

My heat press has a on/off temperature knob (see picture attachment). I think the knob is suppose to stop at 400F but I turn too hard it ended up in the off position. Now it won't point to off when I turn it off.

that looks like a hix press...anyway the knob should have a set screw..probably a hex on one side...loosen and remover..then use your hand or pliers to turn the knob all the way to either all way up or off...then replace the knob with the indicator in the all way or off as appropriate and you should be set...try that and see it that does not work..to get temp gun..go to Harbor Freight..they have them for less than $50
